FPÖ political challenges in Austria

The Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) has initiated several political challenges regarding the use of public funds and media oversight.

In early September, FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl announced plans for a referendum concerning Austria’s public broadcaster, ORF. He has demanded the disclosure of sponsorship contracts and decision-making processes to determine if there was a misuse of taxpayer funds or a breach of fiduciary duty.
