2026 Baccalaureate Reforms and Results Expanded

The Ministry confirmed that 714,700 candidates sat the 2026 baccalauréat, with a provisional national pass rate of 85.5 % after the first session and 91.4 % after the second. Pass rates varied by stream—90.6 % (general), 78.8 % (technological) and 80.5 % (professional). Regional results remained strong in France, with Manche at 93.4 % and Lozère at 95.4 %.
