Free inclusive Junina festivals in Brazil

In late July 2026, the inclusive Junina festival “Arraiá da Inclusão” was staged in two Brazilian cities. In Natal, the third edition attracted over a thousand visitors and featured cultural performances, disability‑friendly services, job‑placement assistance and a sensory craft fair. A week later, a free performance was held in Rio de Janeiro’s Tijuca neighbourhood, highlighting participation by people with disabilities and seniors.

Following these events, from July 31 to August 2, the Instituto Harmonya Brasil, backed by the Niterói municipal government, organized free “Arraiá Harmonya” festivals in the Cubango and São Francisco neighbourhoods of Niterói. The festivals offered live music, traditional food stalls, games and activities for all ages, aiming to broaden public access to popular culture, stimulate local tourism and encourage community interaction.
