French luxury beverage limited edition releases
Overview
Several French beverage brands have announced the release of highly limited edition products celebrating their heritage and origins.
Louis XIII launched a limited ‘Black Pearl: Tribute To The Birthplace Of Louis XIII’ cognac collection, producing only 398 decanters. The edition includes a refrigerated chamber designed to replicate the thermal environment of the brand’s historical cellar, Le Grollet.
Following this, Duval-Leroy and Cointreau announced their own special releases. Duval-Leroy introduced ‘Destinations Secrètes’, a collection of 999 wooden boxes containing four champagnes from different villages and vintages for blind tasting. Cointreau unveiled a special edition bottle celebrating its birthplace in Angers, with only 5,122 bottles available exclusively at the Carré Cointreau.
