Frosolone summer cultural festivals

In late July 2026 Frosolone announced its traditional Sagra baccalà e peperuol for 1 August, featuring a religious procession, a parade of allegorical floats and free public events showcasing local cuisine. The province confirmed the festival would be part of a wider summer cultural programme, adding the Carri Allegorici parade, live music, a literary meeting, the Notte Arancione del Borgo food fair and further celebrations through August and early September. The 48th Carri Allegorici parade on 1 August will be accompanied by the Passatella rite, the Sagra dei peperuoli e baccalà, live music by Mangatnà and a DJ set by Gaetano Ciolfi, followed by a float‑prize ceremony. Singer Silvia Mezzanotte will perform in San Pietro in Valle on 7 August; the night‑market version of Notte Arancione del Borgo is set for 10 August, and a literary‑cultural Incontri d’Autore on 14 August will feature journalist Domenico Iannacone. The programme concludes with the patron saint’s feast, Festa di Sant’Egidio, on 23 August and the National Scissors and Knives Fair on 5‑6 September, highlighting local craftsmanship.
