FuboTV expansion of regional sports network coverage
Overview
FuboTV has implemented a strategy to expand its sports broadcasting capabilities through new distribution agreements and specialized service offerings.
In late September 2026, the company launched a ‘My Local Sports’ add-on package intended to provide subscribers with flexible access to regional sports networks (RSNs) and FAST channels. This move included a multi-year agreement with the National Hockey League (NHL) to carry regional networks for the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, and St. Louis Blues within their respective home markets.
By October 2026, Fubo expanded its coverage further by securing deals for seven additional RSNs for the upcoming NBA season. These additions include coverage for the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Orlando Magic, bringing the service’s total NBA RSN coverage to over 75% of the league.
