Fuel and energy prices ~~have shown~~ continue to show varied movements across Mexico and the Dominican Republic. In Mexico, ~~reports indicate price increases for~~ the Comisión Reguladora de Energía (CRE) updated LP gas ~~and gasoline in~~ tariffs for the ~~Veracruz and Boca~~ Veracruz-Boca del Río ~~metropolitan areas. Conversely, other regions in Mexico have experienced different trends, such as~~ area for the period of August 9 to 15, noting a slight ~~decreases in~~ increase to 18.82 pesos per kilogram. In Guanajuato, fuel prices remained relatively stable for the week of August 9-15; Magna gasoline ~~prices~~ saw a slight average decrease of one centavo per liter to 23.79 pesos, though some increases in ~~Guanajuato or localized fluctuations~~ Diesel were noted in ~~Hermosillo.~~ the state capital and Celaya. In Hermosillo, average prices were reported at 23.96 pesos per liter for Magna, 29.14 pesos for Premium, and 26.94 pesos for Diesel. In the Dominican Republic, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and ~~MSMEs~~ Mipymes (MICM) announced increases for ~~premium gasoline, regular gasoline, and diesel,~~ the week of August 8 to 14. Premium gasoline rose by RD$3.00 to reach RD$341.10 per gallon, while ~~maintaining stable~~ regular gasoline increased by RD$2.00 to RD$304.50.
