Futebol Forte União revenue distribution

Overview

The Futebol Forte União (FFU) has initiated a series of early revenue distributions for Brazilian football clubs. In late September, the FFU approved an advance of R$ 10 million for ten Serie A clubs, including Athletico-PR, Botafogo, Corinthians, and Vasco, to be paid in October. These funds are tied to audience targets originally scheduled for the end of the season.

Additionally, the FFU approved R$ 1 million advances for each of the 18 clubs in Serie B, linked to 2027 projected revenues. A restructuring of the revenue distribution model is planned for next year, shifting to an 85% allocation for Serie A and 15% for Serie B, which could increase second-division payments to R$ 24 million by 2027.
