Gaming mouse hardware developments

Overview

The gaming peripheral market has seen recent technical developments in mouse design and sensor technology.

HATOR introduced the Pulsar 4, a lightweight wireless gaming mouse weighing 59 grams. The device utilizes a PixArt PAW3315 sensor, supports up to 16,000 DPI, and features optical switches developed with TTC. It offers connectivity via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired USB modes.

In a separate development, Pulsar revealed a concept for a dual-sensor mouse platform. This technology, termed OmniFusion, uses two optical sensors and an AI called IntentEngine to allow users to customize the virtual tracking point via software. The system aims to adjust sensor positioning based on hand movements to improve accuracy and speed.
