The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which previously held one seat, failed (AAP) suffered a significant setback, failing to win any seats, seats and one seeing its vote share drop from 21.77% in 2021 to 4.37%. One seat was secured by an independent candidate. Beyond Gandhinagar, the BJP also retained power in the Thara and Okha municipalities.
