Geely and Zeekr expansion in Italy

Overview

Jameel Motors Italia initiated a structural reorganization for the Geely and Zeekr brands to support growth within the Italian market. This reorganization included five new appointments across sales, marketing, communication, and territorial management to strengthen distribution networks and commercial development.

Following this restructuring, Marco Santucci, Managing Director of Jameel Motors Italia for Geely and Zeekr, addressed the Italian Chamber of Deputies regarding sustainable mobility. Santucci highlighted the industry shift toward electrification and artificial intelligence, noting that consumers are seeking technological vehicles priced around 20,000 euros. He warned that a 30% tariff burden could impact the accessibility of such models and urged the Italian government to create a stable national strategy to encourage investment in energy, software, and components.
