Latin American regional initiatives have emerged to combat gender-based violence through institutional recognition and specialized training.
In Brazil, the Ministry of Education introduced the ‘Safe and Violence-Free Educational Institutions for Girls and Women’ seal. In Bolivia, the company SOBOCE received a Silver Seal for its commitment to a life free of violence against women, a recognition coordinated by the Ministry of the Presidency. Meanwhile, in Guanajuato, Mexico, authorities launched a training program for public servants to integrate a gender perspective into labor matters, aiming to eliminate discrimination and harassment within the public service.
