Genesis continues to expand its high-performance and electric vehicle portfolio through the Magma series and strategic motorsport participation. Following the May 2026 debut of the Magma performance series and the brand’s participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the company has focused on diversifying its luxury and electrified offerings. In September 2026, the brand provided further details on its upcoming models. The flagship GV90 electric SUV, based on the Neolun Concept, is slated for a second-half 2026 launch in South Korea, North America, and Europe. Utilizing the eMP platform and a 123.5 kWh battery, the GV90 Neolun is positioned as a top-tier luxury model. It features the ‘Neolun Arch Gate’—a B-pillarless coach door system—and an ‘Executive Suite’ four-seat VIP lounge configuration. The interior incorporates traditional Korean elements, such as a wood veneer floor with a radiant heating system inspired by Ondol. The vehicle features the Pleos Connect infotainment system, which includes an extendable OLED cinematic display. While driving, the screen measures approximately 23.6 inches, but it can expand to 24.6 inches in ‘Media Home’ mode when parked, allowing passengers to access streaming services. This movement is achieved via a brushless motor and rack-and-pinion mechanism that raises the screen 90mm, increasing the usable viewing area by approximately 70%. To ensure safety, the screen automatically retracts if the vehicle moves to allow for proper airbag deployment.
