There are also persistent concerns regarding whether oil companies will pass the full savings on to consumers, noting that previous relief measures in the spring did not always result in immediate or complete price drops at the pump. CSU leader Markus Söder continues to advocate for fundamental energy taxation reform to provide long-term stability rather than relying on temporary relief measures.
