Germany and Greece prepare for Nations League clash

The German national football team continues to manage roster changes ahead of their high-stakes UEFA Nations League fixture against Greece in Thessaloniki. Head coach Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that Serge Gnabry has departed the camp to return to Munich, citing load management.

As the match at Toumba Stadium approaches, Klopp has addressed squad selection, indicating that Aleksandar Pavlović and Jonas Urbig are expected to start. While there was previous speculation regarding goalkeeper Finn Dahmen making a debut, Klopp has suggested that Urbig may retain his spot.

In Greece, the national team remains undefeated and leads Group A with seven points following a 2-2 draw against the Netherlands. Germany follows in third place with four points after a 2-0 victory over Serbia. The Greek squad is currently managing the absence of Christos Tzolis due to injury, with Dimitris Pelkas called up as a replacement.

Greek coach Ivan Jovanović has emphasized team unity and discipline as the team aims to secure a top-two finish. The upcoming match remains a decisive encounter for the group standings, with Germany facing pressure to maintain momentum to remain in contention for the quarter-finals.
