Germany renewable energy expansion efforts

Overview

Germany is pursuing legislative and auction-based measures to expand its renewable energy capacity. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy proposed amendments to the Wind Energy at Sea Act (WindSeeG) to accelerate offshore wind development.
