Building on these digital improvements, the Ghanaian Interior Minister inaugurated the Ghana Fire Code Committee in Accra. Supported by the World Bank, this committee is tasked with developing a modern, enforceable national fire code. The new regulatory framework aims to address risks from rapid urbanization, industrial growth, and new technologies, providing clearer guidance for architects, engineers, and developers to ensure safety standards are met across the country.
