Overview

The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) Bandung 2026 opened on September 9 at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom. The fourth annual exhibition features 19 automotive brands, including 16 passenger vehicle manufacturers and three motorcycle brands. To support the event and local economic growth, the West Java provincial government has offered incentives including a 10 percent discount on annual vehicle taxes and motor vehicle ownership transfer fees.

As the exhibition continues through September 13, it has attracted significant interest through a test drive and test ride program featuring 42 different vehicles. In response to the growing market, financing companies Astra Credit Companies (ACC) and Toyota Astra Financial (TAF) have established a target to finance 500 vehicle units, valued at approximately Rp170 billion.
