GJLS Berapi-Api film production and release

Overview

The Indonesian comedy film ‘GJLS Berapi-Api’ has moved from early production details to an official trailer and poster release.

Initially, the music group Barasuara confirmed they would compose the soundtrack, with vocalist Iga Massardi noting the challenge of adapting their musical character to a comedy film. The band planned to incorporate the film’s initials into their composition.

Following this, the film’s trailer and poster were released, revealing a plot centered on three friends aspiring to be firefighters. The cast, including Rigen Rakelna, Ananta Rispo, and Hifdzi Khoir, highlighted the use of real fire and heavy firefighting gear during production. Barasuara’s official soundtrack, titled ‘Api dan Mimpi’, was also announced ahead of the film’s scheduled release on November 5, 2026.
