In the United States, platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats are expanding their utility by integrating grocery services and SNAP food assistance, transitioning from luxury services to essential tools for daily needs. In the European market, Delivery Hero has experienced significant stock growth amid an ongoing acquisition process by Uber. Following a strong first half of 2026, where the company reported an adjusted EBITDA of 426.7 million euros and revenue growth of 17.8 percent totaling 7.8 billion euros, Delivery Hero raised its full-year financial guidance. The company now projects annual adjusted EBITDA to reach between 960 million and 1 billion euros, while also ~~increasing targets for revenue and~~ expecting Gross Merchandise Value ~~(GMV).~~ (GMV) to grow by 9-11 percent.
