Global rubber markets have experienced maintained an upward trend across major Asian exchanges. Initially, prices rose on exchanges, driven by tightening supply and renewed capital flow into Asian rubber contracts. By early September 2026, price increases intensified. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) and (SHFE), the Singapore Exchange (SGX), while September 2026 contract rose by 2.12% to 18,295 CNY per ton, with increases also reported for October contracts. The Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) and domestic markets in Thailand and Vietnam remained relatively stable has shown mixed or showed only slight increases. By early September, price increases intensified on fluctuating results; while the SHFE and SGX, attributed to tightening global supply and renewed capital flow into Asian rubber contracts. While TOCOM continued September RSS3 contract increased by 1.13% to show mixed results, 458.80 yen per kg, other contracts have seen slight declines.
