Venture capital activity has seen significant investment rounds across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region and other global markets.
In mid-August, Malaysia’s VentureTECH invested US$6.85 million into three Bumiputera-led companies to support industrial automation, digital inclusion, and healthcare. During the same period, eight ANZ startups raised a combined US$67.4 million, including US$15 million for the agtech firm Farmbot.
By late August, funding totals in the ANZ region increased, with seven startups raising a combined $111.5 million. This included a $62.5 million round for the Australian fintech Constantinople. Concurrently, major investments were reported in Europe, such as a $200 million investment for Gravis Robotics and significant funding for firms in France, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
