Globoplay release of ‘Vermelho Sangue’ season 2

Overview

Globoplay has released the second season of its original Brazilian fantasy and horror series, ‘Vermelho Sangue’. Following the initial premiere in October 2025, the new installment debuted on September 17 and consists of ten episodes.

Set in the fictional city of Guarambá, the series continues to follow supernatural characters, including the werewolf Luna and the vampire Flora. This season was filmed in the Minas Gerais cerrado and explores themes of identity, freedom, and moral choices through the evolving dynamics between werewolves and vampires.

Creators Claudia Sardinha and Rosane Svartman have stated that the story is not intended to conclude with this season. While Globoplay has not officially confirmed a renewal, the creators have already prepared a synopsis for a potential third season to further develop the characters and their conflicts.
