Goiânia International Autodrome renovation

Overview

The Goiânia International Autodrome Ayrton Senna has reopened for cycling and street running following a complete replacement of the track's asphalt. The renovation, managed by the Government of Goiás, involved removing the old pavement and applying new material.

To accommodate various activities, the track follows a specific schedule from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Cyclists are permitted to train on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while runners have access on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Motor racing activities for cars and motorcycles are not expected to resume until the end of November to allow the new asphalt to cure, a process estimated to take between 45 and 60 days. The circuit is also preparing for the return of MotoGP, which has confirmed a stage in Goiás for April 2 to 4, 2027.
