Google Pixel 11 technical performance issues

Overview

Following the launch of the Google Pixel 11 series, users have reported several technical malfunctions across the device lineup.

Initial reports focused on graphical issues when running the mobile game Genshin Impact. Users noted severe visual glitches, such as flickering textures and screen tearing, across the standard, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models. These issues were attributed to the Tensor G6 chip’s PowerVR GPU not meeting the minimum requirements set by developer HoYoverse. Google confirmed the issue and stated they are working with the developer on a solution via a future game update.

Subsequent reports have expanded to include connectivity problems involving 5G, 4G, and Wi-Fi. Despite a transition to MediaTek components intended to improve network stability, users in several regions have reported sporadic connection drops and slow Wi-Fi speeds. Specific complaints include spontaneous 5G drops and the Wi-Fi symbol failing to appear on the Pro XL model when switching from mobile data. While Pixel Community Support is investigating, no official software fix has been released.
