Gorontalo regional financial and investment management

The Gorontalo provincial government is engaging in various financial management and investment initiatives. In early September 2026, the Gorontalo Provincial Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BKAD) visited PT BSG headquarters to strengthen investment cooperation. As of July 2026, the provincial government held a 5.36% stake in PT BSG, valued at Rp77 billion, having received Rp68 billion in dividends. A planned capital participation of Rp5 billion is currently under evaluation by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

By mid-September 2026, regional authorities focused on administrative planning and student support. Bappeda Provinsi Gorontalo conducted technical guidance to strengthen the Integrated Government Internal Control System (SPIP), aiming to ensure budget planning is based on measurable results rather than simple budget absorption. Concurrently, Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Gorontalo distributed savings books to 1,613 students receiving KIP Kuliah scholarships at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) and introduced the ‘Balé RACE’ digital literacy program.
