Gospel music events in Italy

Overview

Gospel music initiatives and performances are being organized across various Italian locations. In Asti, the Asti Gospel Choir held a ‘Gospel Open Night’ led by founder Aurelio Pitino, which included vocal exercises and a collective performance of ‘Hallelujah, Salvation and Glory’. In Assisi, the ‘Assisi One World Gospel’ festival is planned for November 6 to celebrate the eighth centenary of Saint Francis, featuring over 400 voices from 30 groups across Italy, Europe, and America performing in 30 different squares.

Additional scheduled events include a performance by the 7 Hills Gospel Choir at the Teatro Francigena in Capranica as part of the Impact Festival 2026. Furthermore, the New York City Gospel Choir is set to present ‘The Spirit of Gospel Christmas’ at the Auditorium Pandurera in Cento on December 22, featuring a program of contemporary gospel, soul, and holiday songs.
