Since July 2026, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has expanded digital support and oversight for Greek farmers. On 4 August, AADE activated the myAGRO platform, the exclusive channel for submitting the 2026 Unified Agricultural Support Application (EAE). Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated the system belongs “entirely to the Greek state,” aiming to improve transparency and accelerate the distribution of European funds. In late August, AADE, in collaboration with ETHEAS and GEOTEE, introduced several simplifications to the myAGRO platform to address technical difficulties. These measures include mass authorization acceptance for producers to facilitate agent access and the abolition of requirements to print, sign, and attach the ELGA Single Declaration of Cultivation and Breeding, which is now replaced by a digital file. To prevent payment delays, verified IBAN details from 2025 applications will be automatically pre-filled. Regarding land leases, handwritten agreements with annual rents up to 960 euros do not require declaration in the current phase, as they will be managed later via the Real Estate Ownership and Management Registry (MIDA). Additionally, new lease declarations are not required if contract terms remain unchanged after expiration, and new declarations for heirs will not be necessary after 1 January 2026. On 8 September, AADE launched a digital application via the myAADE portal for submitting administrative appeals regarding 2025 agricultural subsidy settlement payments. This allows farmers to contest results for various interventions, such as biological farming incentives and the preservation of indigenous livestock breeds. Specific submission windows for these appeals vary between 5 and 10 working days depending on the intervention type. Simultaneously, AADE established a new regulatory framework for managing Single Applications for Support (EAE) within the Integrated Management and Control System (OSDE).
