The HEDNO (DEDDIE) rolling maintenance programme continues to cause scheduled electricity cuts across Greece to facilitate network reinforcement and upgrades. Following disruptions in Phthiotis and Attica in early October, maintenance works expanded in Thessaloniki on 7 October, affecting the city center and the Achaliou industrial zone. On 8 October, outages were scheduled across Crete, impacting residential areas, agricultural stations, and local infrastructure in Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno, and Lasithi. In early October, HEDNO announced outages for the weekend of 3–4 October. In Phthiotis, the Locris municipality faced disruptions affecting industrial sites and fish farms, while Stylida saw maintenance at key street intersections. In Attica, outages impacted Petroupoli, Peristeri, Athens, Nea Ionia, Kallithea, Agios Ioannis Rentis, Piraeus, and Argyroupoli. Further disruptions were scheduled for mid-October in Phthiotis, impacting Lamia and Domokos, and in Ioannina, where water supply interruptions were expected due to pumping station maintenance. In the Larissa Prefecture, significant interruptions were planned for 18 October, affecting Tyrnavos, Elassona, and the NATO headquarters in Tyrnavos. On 25 October, additional planned outages were scheduled for Phthiotis and Attica. In Phthiotis, maintenance in the Lokroi municipality affected factories, irrigation systems, and residential areas in Atalanti, while outages in Lamia impacted the Mondelez plant and the Zisimis dairy factory. In Attica, disruptions were scheduled for Peristeri, Athens, Paiania, and the Piraeus Port Authority area in Keratsini. By late October, scheduled disruptions included power outages in Thessaloniki’s Delta and Oraioastros municipalities. On 19 October, maintenance in Crete targeted the Heraklion municipality, Malevizi, Minos Pedias, Platanias in Chania, and Agios Vasileios in Rethymno, impacting businesses like the Simeakis factory. On 29 October, outages were scheduled for Corinthia, affecting the Municipality of Corinth and the Katsourini irrigation area. New maintenance schedules announced in late October include widespread outages for early November.
