Hana Financial Group social support initiatives

Overview

Hana Financial Group has implemented several social support initiatives in South Korea in partnership with the Small Enterprise and Marketing Service (SEMAS).

In early September, the group launched the ‘Good Egg Project’ to mitigate food price pressures. This initiative involves distributing approximately 120,000 trays of eggs to 4,000 neighborhood supermarkets nationwide to assist consumers and small retailers ahead of the Chuseok holiday. Hana Financial Group covers costs for washing, inspecting, sorting, and transportation to maintain low retail prices.

Later in the month, the group expanded its support through the ‘Hana On, Youth On’ project. This initiative focuses on revitalizing local commercial districts by providing expert consulting, budget support, and customized financial assistance to approximately 100 participants from 15 teams of young small business owners.
