Hans Zimmer North American tour and political commentary
Overview
Film composer Hans Zimmer announced the North American leg of his ‘The Next Level’ tour, a 30-date arena run scheduled to begin in February 2027. The production is described as an audiovisual spectacle featuring a 19-piece band performing scores from films such as ‘Inception’ and ‘Dune’.
Following the tour announcement, Zimmer expressed support for Canada during an escalating trade war between Canada and the United States. Stating, ‘If this was a soccer match, I’d be rooting for Canada,’ the composer noted his intention to use music to connect people despite global political tensions.
