A printed copy of the myrrh‑streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God arrived in Bulgaria at the end of July 2026. The icon was welcomed at Sofia’s Vasil Levski Airport by Patriarch Daniel of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church Church, Metropolitan Daniel, and other clergy, including Bishop Iriney (London and Western Europe), following a decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.
