HC Motor České Budějovice participated in several pre-season ice hockey matches and tournaments in August and early September 2026. The team began its preparation period with a 2-3 loss to HC Dukla Jihlava in a friendly match. Coach Robert Petrovický characterized the performance as a “solid start,” noting improved team movement despite the need to refine power-play formations.
