Holland America Line cruise operations and bookings

Holland America Line is operating various extended itineraries, including a 28-night ‘Glaciers & Volcanoes: Alaska to Hawaii’ voyage from Seattle and Western Mediterranean routes via the Oosterdam.

The company has expanded its offerings by announcing new booking opportunities and promotions. These include limited-time deposit offers for select 2027 Alaska and Europe cruises, as well as the opening of bookings for the 2028 Canada and New England season, featuring itineraries hosted on the Volendam and the transformed Zuiderdam.

To celebrate its 80th year of operating in Alaska in 2027, the cruise line plans to deploy six ships—Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam, and Zaandam—between April and September 2027. New itineraries include an eight-day Alaska Inside Passage cruise from Vancouver and the return of the 28-day ‘Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice’ cruise, with the Noordam sailing from Seattle toward the Bering Sea and the Arctic Circle.

Beyond maritime travel, the company is investing in land-based experiences, with new accommodations scheduled to open at the Holland America Denali Lodge near Denali National Park and Preserve in 2027.

Looking toward 2029, Carnival Corporation has announced a major fleet reshuffle involving Holland America Line. As part of this realignment, the Arcadia will leave P&O Cruises to join Holland America Line. This addition of the Vista Class ship is expected to expand Holland America’s fleet to 12 vessels and increase capacity by over 2,000 guests. The Arcadia will also be integrated into the ‘Holland America Evolution’ program, a multi-year investment in ship upgrades.
