Homophobic assault on LGBT+ police association president

In late August 2026, Pierre Picavet, a police officer and president of the LGBT+ association FLAG!, was the victim of a violent homophobic assault in the Marais district of Paris. The attack occurred in the early morning hours after Picavet left a local establishment.
