Honda Accord 2027 hybrid refresh

In late July 2026 Honda announced the 2027 Accord e:HEV for the Japanese market, featuring modest exterior tweaks, a 2.0‑L hybrid powertrain (initially quoted at 181 hp) and the new Honda Sensing 360+ driver‑assist suite. A few days later the company highlighted body‑colour‑matched lower trims, refined dimensions (4,975 mm L × 1,860 mm W × 1,450 mm H, 2,830 mm wheelbase) and fuel‑economy of 23.8 km/L.

On 2 August 2026 Honda unveiled a refreshed version to mark the Accord’s 50th anniversary. Visual updates include body‑colour‑matched trim replacing black accents, transparent turn‑signal elements in the head‑light clusters, a shark‑fin antenna, and a subtly restyled grille and front bumper, while overall dimensions remain unchanged. The e:HEV hybrid system is retained but power output is now listed at 207 hp. The Honda Sensing 360+ suite is expanded with hands‑off highway driving assistance, enhanced collision‑avoidance, driver‑attention monitoring, adaptive cruise control with traffic‑jam assist and lane‑keeping support. Prices start at ¥5.95 million for the base model and rise to about ¥6.5 million for the fully equipped Sensing 360+ trim.
