Hoàng Dũng musical performance and family involvement

Overview

Singer Hoàng Dũng performed the musical piece ‘Tich tich tinh tang’ on the program ‘Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai’. The performance incorporated traditional Tay ethnic culture and was inspired by the folk tale of Thạch Sanh.

During the act, Hoàng Dũng was joined on stage by his mother, Associate Professor Dr. Hoàng Thị Chiên. A former chemistry lecturer at Thai Nguyen University of Education, Dr. Chiên is now an artisan with the Then Suối Ngàn group. She participated in the performance through ‘Then’ singing and playing the ‘đàn tính’ instrument, marking the first time the singer has shared a major stage with his mother.
