Honor smartwatch product releases

Overview

Honor has expanded its wearable technology lineup with several new smartwatch models. The Watch X5 Play was launched in international markets, including Malaysia, featuring a 2.01-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, a plastic body, and a battery life of up to 18 days. It includes health tracking for heart rate, blood oxygen, and stress, alongside 109 sports modes.

Following this, Honor introduced the Watch 6, which offers over 120 sports modes with specialized metrics for activities like football and badminton. This model includes the HONOR AccuTrack System with dual-band GPS, a 1.46-inch Hybrid LTPS display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness, and enhanced health monitoring such as blood pressure trend monitoring and Body Energy Assessment. The Watch 6 features a 980mAh battery, providing up to 35 days of life in long-endurance mode. It is available in two versions: a Shadow Black model with an aluminum alloy body and a Twilight Brown model with a 316L stainless steel body. The Watch 6 has seen regional expansions, including launches in Turkey and South America.

Honor also unveiled the Watch 6 Pro in China, a high-end model featuring a 1.5-inch dual-layer OLED display with a peak brightness of 5,500 nits. The Pro version introduces advanced safety features, including the ability to detect a stopped pulse to trigger a cardiac arrest alarm and provide resuscitation prompts. It also supports second-generation blood pressure monitoring and compatibility with external continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensors. Honor notes the device is “not a medical device and may not detect all cardiac events.” Additionally, the company introduced the Watch Fit 6, which features a 1.97-inch AMOLED rectangular display and is positioned for a more affordable market segment.
