Incheon community cultural performance projects

Overview

Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture are implementing cultural performance projects to increase arts accessibility for local residents.

On Baengnyeong Island, the ‘Baengnyeong Green Festa’ and ‘Yogijogi Concert’ are scheduled for late August. These initiatives, part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s ‘Culture Everywhere’ project, include resident-led band performances, exhibitions, and a talk concert titled ‘Bukdo-myeon Sea Road Time Travel’ to address geographic constraints on the island.

Additionally, the ‘Yogijogi Concert’ series will extend to the Imhak Library in Gyeyang-gu on September 5. This free event will feature performances by the Aurelia Ensemble string quartet and the Picnic Jazz Band to provide musical experiences within the daily lives of residents.
