Incheon National University academic and industry progress
Overview
Incheon National University has demonstrated growth in both international academic standing and industry-academic collaboration.
The university rose to 19th place in the 2027 Internationalization Excellence University Evaluation, improving four spots from the previous year. Notable advancements included a significant increase in student support rankings, specifically in dormitory occupancy for international students and scholarship ratios. The institution also showed strength in nationality diversity and international research funding.
In the field of biotechnology, the university’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation received the Minister of Education Award. This recognition followed a successful partnership with Daebong LS Co., Ltd. to commercialize plant-derived exosome technology. The collaboration enabled the mass production of red cabbage-derived exosomes and led to international patent applications and global market distribution through the DKSH platform.
