In the industrial sector, Premier Energies and RCT India have entered a joint venture to establish a 12 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Telangana. The project will be implemented in phases, with an initial 6 GWh capacity expected to be operational by June 2027. The facility aims to serve domestic and international markets, providing storage solutions to address energy intermittency and grid flexibility.
