Overview

India has engaged in several military exercises throughout late 2026 to enhance interoperability and international partnerships.

In late September and early October, the Indian Air Force hosted Tarang Shakti 2026 at the Jodhpur Air Force Station. Under the theme ‘Power in Partnership’, the multinational air combat exercise involved aerial drills with various indigenous and international aircraft. Additionally, the Indian Coast Guard Ship Shaunak conducted a goodwill visit to Jakarta to bolster bilateral maritime security cooperation.
