Following the festival, data indicated significant engagement with these schemes. In Uttar Pradesh, between August 27 and August 29, the government facilitated trips for over 88.94 lakh passengers, including 55.17 lakh women, at a cost of approximately 106.98 crore rupees.

In Delhi, the government extended the validity of paper-based ‘Pink Tickets’ for free travel until September 17 to assist the transition to a mandatory digital system. After this date, women must use the ‘Pink Saheli Smart Card’ to access free services on Delhi Transport Corporation and cluster buses, a system designed to link with Aadhaar and mobile numbers for record-keeping.
