Indonesia is accelerating its electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem through infrastructure expansion, adjusted subsidy schemes, and significant nickel downstreaming projects. To support the transition, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has implemented a 2025–2030 roadmap to deploy public charging stations. Regarding the National Electric Motorcycle Ecosystem (Molinas), President Prabowo Subianto has announced plans to provide incentives to companies producing one million electric motorcycles domestically, though the government has adjusted the subsidy from Rp5 million to Rp3 million per unit.
