The corruption trial regarding Indonesia’s 2023–2024 Hajj quota management continues at the Central Jakarta District Court following the court's rejection of former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas’s interlocutory objection on 27 August 2026. KPK prosecutors allege that Yaqut improperly reallocated additional Hajj quotas, shifting the distribution from a 92 percent regular to 8 percent special pilgrim ratio to a 50:50 split without technical studies.
