Indonesia Pelni expands July‑August 2026 ferry schedules

Pelni’s July‑August 2026 timetable continues to broaden, adding further inter‑island services. In addition to services beyond the earlier announced voyages of KM Sinabung, KM Tilongkabila, KM Nggapulu and Nggapulu, KM Dobonsolo, the state‑owned carrier released schedules for KM Kelud and Kelud, KM Pangrango covering 25 July to 14 August. KM Kelud will operate a Jakarta‑Batam‑Tanjung Balai Karimun‑Medan circuit, departing Jakarta on 25 July and returning on 14 August, with a 30 percent discount for tickets bought from 6 June for journeys between 20 June and 15 August (excluding insurance and port fees). KM Pangrango will serve the Maluku region, leaving Ambon for Banda on 31 July, then proceeding to Namrole before returning to Ambon. Kelimutu. The latest addition newest vessel added to the schedule is KM Kelimutu, whose summer schedule begins on 24 July from which departs Tanjung Priok (Jakarta) at 09:00 on 24 July and completes a western‑central Indonesia circuit, returning on 20 August. Key port calls include Tanjung Pandan (25 July, 06:00‑09:00), Pontianak (26 July, 14:00‑17:00), Semarang (28 July, 13:00‑later), Kumai (30 July, 05:00‑07:00), Pandan, Pontianak, Semarang, Kumai, Surabaya (11 August, 08:00‑10:00) and Batulicin (12 Batulicin. Pelni also released schedules for two additional ferries. KM Sangiang will leave Ambon on 31 July, reach Bitung on 4 August, 16:00‑19:00). All vessels are positioned as key links and return to Ambon via a 4 August departure, with a return leg on 6 August.
