Pelni expands July‑September 2026 ferry schedules
Overview
Pelni’s 2026 summer timetable has continued to widen, now covering a June‑July eastern Indonesia circuit (KM Tatamailau Voyage 08) that links Merauke, Timika, Dobo, Tual, Kaimana, Fak‑Fak, Sorong, Tobelo, Tidore, Bitung, Ambon, Ternate and returns to its home port. July schedules for KM Tilongkabila and KM Tidar add capacity for up to 2,000 passengers on routes through Bima, Lembar, Benoa, Labuan Bajo, Makassar, Bau Bau, Raha, Kendari, Luwuk, Gorontalo, Bitung and onward to Kupang, Maumere, Larantuka and Lewoleba. New itineraries for KM Binaiya (13 July–3 August) and an updated KM Sangiang circuit further support inter‑island connectivity. In the Makassar corridor, KM Dobonsolo, KM Ciremai and KM Nggapulu are slated for July trips linking Makassar, Bau‑Bau, Sorong, Ambon and Namlea, while KM Sinabung, KM Tilongkabila and KM Nggapulu serve Bau‑Bau‑Bitung and Surabaya‑Makassar routes. The July‑August schedule also introduces KM Kelud (Jakarta‑Batam‑Tanjung Balai Karimun‑Medan) and KM Pangrango (Ambon‑Banda‑Namrole‑Ambon). KM Kelimutu’s western‑central circuit (24 July–20 August) visits Tanjung Pandan, Pontianak, Semarang, Kumai, Surabaya and Batulicin. August 2026 schedules include KM Lambelu operating from 8 August to 2 September, calling at Nunukan, Pantoloan, Balikpapan, Pare Pare, Makassar, Bau Bau, Maumere, Larantuka and Tarakan. A Sorong‑Manokwari service is set to depart Sorong on 8 August at 23:59 WIT, arriving in Manokwari on 9 August at 14:00, with economy tickets priced at Rp 211,500. KM Gunung Dempo will operate between 12 and 23 August, covering routes including Makassar, Sorong, Manokwari, Wasior, Nabire, Jayapura, Surabaya, and Jakarta. September 2026 schedules have now been released. KM Awu is scheduled to operate from 31 August to 17 September, visiting Denpasar, Surabaya, Kumai, Bima, Waingapu, Ende, Kupang, and Alor, with Kumai to Kupang tickets starting at Rp 623,000.
