Overview
Indonesia is advancing its science, technology, and innovation landscape through both international partnerships and domestic strategic focus.
In collaboration with the United States, Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has established ten pilot research initiatives. Additionally, there is an increasing focus on integrating AI into the food system to optimize planting and pest detection, though concerns remain regarding potential dependency on foreign-controlled technology.
