Industrial and technological investment in Selangor
Overview
During the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026, UOB Malaysia and Invest Selangor Berhad facilitated over RM3 billion in investments for the state of Selangor. These investments involve four companies presenting letters of intent for projects in digital infrastructure, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and new energy. Key participants include Galaxy DC Pte Ltd, Shenghui Biotechnology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Wuxi Weifu Environmental Catalysts Co Ltd, and XTC New Energy Materials (Xiamen) Co Ltd.
Building on these industrial developments, the Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corp (Sidec) has partnered with NCT World Sdn Bhd to establish a robotics manufacturing ecosystem at the NCT Smart Industrial Park in Sepang. This initiative, described as the first of its kind in Southeast Asia, aims to develop 10 high-value technology companies with a combined valuation of RM30 billion by 2030.
