Inep educational exam updates in Brazil

Overview

The National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) has implemented several updates and logistical arrangements for national examinations in Brazil.

In late September, Inep updated the Enem Libras platform to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The platform provides an archive of video exams from 2017 to 2025, allowing students to practice in an interface that replicates the official exam environment. For the 2026 exam, approved candidates will receive an additional 120 minutes of testing time per day.

By early October, Inep released testing locations for the 2026 Encceja reapplication exams. This reapplication process, scheduled for October 6 and 7, serves participants who faced logistical issues or specific infectious diseases during the original exam. Students can access their specific locations and instructions via the Registration Confirmation Card within the Encceja System.
